About Us
The Founder of Tutor Tribe
Six years ago I joined an online tutoring platform on a whim whilst studying for a Biology degree at University. I was like every other student - poor, had little work experience due to Covid, and not a clue what I wanted a career in. With a passion for education, I decided to try my hand at teaching. ​
Six years later, I have over 600 lessons under my belt and a staggering five-star review from every student I have ever taught. Over 90% of my students have hit their target grade - or higher - after working with me for over three months, something I am incredibly proud of. I have taught in classrooms, summer schools, abroad, and online - my classroom is never the same and my students are always changing.
​Helping others reach their full potential and achieve incredible results has always been my passion. I never considered teaching other tutors until a colleague sought my help about engaging a distracted student. I offered my advice, explaining several ways I capture the attention of my un-motivated students. My colleague implemented the advice, and three months later, the student passed her English GCSEs - an achievement that had once seemed impossible to both the student and her parents. That small piece of guidance led to a breakthrough, transforming the student’s life forever.​
Once I saw how much of a difference a bit of advice to a colleague could have on a child's education, I instantly fell in love with tutoring other tutors as a career.
Now, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned to help you grow as a tutor. ​I truly believe that great tutors have a powerful influence on education. By supporting other educators, I want to help create the widest possible impact—ensuring more students receive the brilliant education they deserve.
